Telephone Systems - Intro

Wizards offers a variety of telephone systems to suit many sizes and configuration of users!

PBX based systems.

Wizards offers two different PBX based phone systems. Both use modern high performance low cost PBX units.

Epygi make a range of hardware PBX units, from an entry level unit which supports a single PSTN line and 8 extensions up to a sytem which supports an ISDN-30 main trunk and up to 192 extensions. These units are all capable of connecting VOIP "trunks" to take full advantage of modern internet based call routing.

3CX is a "soft" PBX, that is, instead of a dedicated hardware unit in a comms rack or screwed to the wall, the system is software running on a Windows server or workstation.

Hosted systems.

With a "hosted" phone system, you do not have a PBX at your office, you just have the individual phones. The PBX still exists, but is "in the cloud". You have access to all the powerful features of a top of range modern PBX but you don't have to buy, install, manage and maintain it. Rather, you control all the services for yoru phones via a web "portal".

FeaturePlus is a hosted service suitable for single users, two or three user systems, or companies with multiple locations each with only a few usres.

Communicator is a hosted service suited to larger organizations, five or ten users and upwards at one or multiple sites, and scales well to systems as large as several hundred users!
