Telephone Services
Wizards offers a range of telephone services, which can be bundled with broadband services or taken on their own.
1) Line ordering Service.
We can order PSTN (POTS) lines, ISDN2 lines, and ISDN30 lines from BT. Our ordering system saves you a lot of hassle - especially if you are an existing customer. You can add lines at an existing site or a separate site. All lines are billed to a single central location - unless you require otherwise. Ordering your lines via Wizards doesn not add cost nor delay to your service provision. In fact, if you order your lines and broadband at the same time, we can generally bring your service on line faster! 2) Cheap calls.
Using our Carrier PreSelect service, we can "take over" your phone line from BT. Once we have put this in effect, you need to nothing. There are no special code to dial nor boxes to install - you just continue to use your phone normally. But now the calls are routed via us and we bill you - instead of BT - at generally a much cheaper rate. See the Carrier PreSelect page for more info and sample prices. NOTE that you can bring multiple lines onto our service and they will all be billed to one central location. You also have access to our customer portal where you can view your call stats at any time, helping you managed your phone usage and bills.
3) Sip-Trunk service for VOIP PBX systems.
If your telephone system is based around a VOIP capable PBX system, or you have added VOIP gateways to your legacy PBX system, you need a SipTrunk account to connect that system to the internet for initiating and receiving VOIP and VOIP-to-POTS calls.
Our service is quick to set up and joins in with our central billing system.
4) "Virtual PBX" VOIP system.
We now also have a VOIP CentrEx system - FeaturePlus - this is a system where all you have is the actual phone, plugged into any existing broadband link, and a number. The exchange system is on our servers, and you can adjust settings and review your call useage via a web page.

5) Fax-to-email and email-to-fax.
With this service you have your own personal fax telephone number. Faxes sent to this number appear in your email inbox - or in more than one inbox if you so choose. You also have an email address to which you can send any document you wish to have sent as a fax to one or multiple numbers. Your number can be a geographical number for anywhere on the UK, or a non-geographical number (e.g. 0844). The system can cope with multiple concurrent faxes, so you can receive more than one fax at a time and no-one ever hears an Engaged tone.
6) SMS services
The SMS system lets you send out Text Messages to small or large numbers of mobile phone numbers, occasionally or regularly! You can create and manage multiple address books of recipients. You can create a message and send it to a single user or a group. Messages can be sent at once or queued to be sent at a preset time.
