Remote Control Assistance

Sometimes it's easier for us to take over and drive your PC than to try to describe what to do, or ask you to read out lots of information off the screen.

NOTE we CANNOT do this without your expressed permission - and once we have done it we can't do it AGAIN without your permission either! 

In order to take over your machine you need to download and run this program.

(Mac users, download and run this program).

Then read out to us the session ID and password from the screen. Without that data we can't get in. And once you stop the program, we can't get in until next time you run the program, and give us the NEW session ID that that will create.

We promise:-

We won't - we can't - access your system at any time other than when you explicitly invite us to do so.

We won't reveal to any third party any information we may see on your computer whislt we're visiting.

We won't go looking around your computer beyond those areas we need to to solve your problem.

YOU CAN WATCH what we do, just sit back and you'll see what we click on, what files we look in, etc.

If you prefer, we will use the session only to examine your computer, then we'll suggest what you need to do to fix the issue.

What is this software? 

We're using a system called TeamViewer. We can only use it to take control of your PC from the Wizards office, however, if you wish to use it for your own purposes, you can download your own copy. It's free for non-commercial use, and very sensibly priced for companies.
