Wizards have been reselling Zyxel products since they first arrived in the UK some ten years ago. We don't just "box shift" this equipment, we have good techincal understanding of what it can do and can offer extensive advice and assistance on configurations and options.

Zyxel ISDN routers. The Prestige 200 range.

Zyxel were one of the first companies to truly crack the problems of ISDN routers running up vast telephone bills when you weren't even there. Their dial-on-demand system is highly reliable and not easily fooled into dialling un-necessary calls. When you do want a connection, the dial and connect operation is near-instantaneous. Zyxel Prestige ISDN routers support channel bonding for faster connections on demand.

As ISDN is not as popular as it once was, since the wide availability of DSL services in the UK, the range of routers is now considerably reduced, but they are still available and as good as they ever were.

Zyxel Prestige ADSL routers. The Prestige 600 range.

Zyxel's ADSL routers continue to develop and add new features and functions. Aimed at the professional market, these routers have TRUE stateful inspection firewalls with proper rules based permit/deny logic, and, on the larger models, a true separate-lan DMZ config. Yet the prices are keen, so the entry level units are still competitive in the home/small office market.

The choice of Prestige 600 includes seven  models, but basically these are
- base model - no firewall, for use with separate firewall systems (e.g. Zywall, Sonicwall, Epygi).
- standard model, no VPN capability. with or without WiFi
- VPN model with or without WiFi
- top model with more VPN, real DMZ, and, again, with or without WiFi.

Zyxel Prestige SDSL routers. Zyxel Prestige 700 series.

Zyxel's SDSL routers are suitabe both for use on SDSL lines from your ISP, including as they do both a g.shdsl compatible modem AND a Zywall SPI firewall, and for use on private copper links, e.g. BT's EPS9 Baseband service, for providing high speed site to site connections between offices on the same Exchange.  There are three models in the range
- single ethernet port, two-wire
- four port switch - two-wire
- four port switch - four-wire
(The latter model is ONLY of use on private links, and will double the speed available on a two-wire link if you have a four-wire connection.)

Zyxel Zywall firewalls.

Zyxel's range of full-feature stateful inspection firewalls are second to none. With WAN, LAN and DMZ options, and, on many of the models, dual WAN options for load balancing and/or failover, fully flexible full featured NAT management, and a full function address/port based rule system, these firewalls put you fully in control of your network. Moreover the new (in 2008) USG range of Zywalls with their faster CPUs and more advanced firmware offer deeper inspection levels,  content filtering, application-based rules, etc.
