Online Shop (ecommerce)

Wizards have been working in conjunction with Farstate to create an all new online shoppping system. This is now avaialble to clients as an application hosted on our main servers.

Farstate Shop

FarstateShop allows you to set up a complete ecommerce system. It has a built in content management system which allows you to edit your Welcome page, other important pages such as Contact Details, Terms of Business, etc., and also allows you to create any other static pages you might need. Then, of course, it helps you create the pages for the products and services you wish to sell!

Google Integration

FarstateShop is integrated with GoogleCheckout as a primary means of accepting customer payments, and approval by Google means if you publish your item for sale to GoogleBase, they will appear in Google Shopping searches with the GoogleCheckout badge next to them!  At the moment exporting products to GoogleBase is manual but we're building in an automated link for that too. We can alos help you link your shop to Google Analytics to help you discover who is visiting your shop, how they are finding out about it etc.

You can also choose to use other payment gateway systems.

Setup options

You can have a basic shop set up for you to start configuring within 24 hours. If you're fully computer literate, you may choose to go this route.

If you would prefer us to help set it up with you, however, you can choose the fully "hand held" set where we work through the initial set up with you, helping you to make the best choices for page layout, making sure you understand how to change it for yourself, and guiding you through the first few product pages.

Or if you want nothing to do with running the site, we can undertake to run it for you. You'll see no price below for this service because obviously it will depend on the size and complexity of your shop and how much work you need us to put in.

We also offer a "data take-on" service. The most time consuming part of setting up any shop is entering the details of each product you intend to sell. We have a number of people who are familiar with the shop setup process who will take your catalogue and upload the product details for you. (Again, we quote no price for this as it will depend on the complexity of the job.)

It's also possible to just use the FarstateShop system as a content management tool for creating and managing a website without having to learn complex tools - here's an example - as you 'll see it looks much the same in overall style but has no products for sale!

• Google Analytics integration - allows you to monitor who's visiting your site and why, what search terms have been used, etc.
• Google Products integration - allows you to export products from your shop directly to the Google Shopping search system.
• Invoicing - allows you to create complete VAT invoices for your sales from the shop system. Conforms to UK VAT rules.
